Coswick 3-layer flooring uses innovative Valinge 5G click system CosLoc. Middle core is made of birch, and all layers assembled together without gaps so there is no splits and chips on the click surface. Birch is hard enough to withstand to any chance of deformation of the click surface during installation and latest exploitation. It ensures a very tight and reliable connection and eliminates unwanted plank movement or squeaking during exploitation. The main features of the 3-Layer Single Strip Flooring CosLoc 5G are as follows:

• 3-layer construction with cross-laid interconnected middle core flooring is much less shrinks and expands at humidity variation and has a wider range of applications in comparison to solid flooring.

• Birch is used for middle core and base lamella. Base lamella has increased the thickness of 3 mm. This helps due to better symmetry to enhance the internal balance of hardwood planks and reduce twisting or warping.

• Cork compensators are added every 15 cm to balance internal stress in case of moisture effect and as a result, helps flooring to withstand to humidity fluctuations.

• The top wear layer is 4 mm and can be sanded up to 4 times. Coswick uses only sawn lamellas for the top layer. Sawn hardwood lamellas have no internal checks that could cause face splits later. Sawn hardwood lamellas are 100% solid wood and preserve the rich grain texture appearance.

• High-adhesion hot-melted polyurethane glues are used to bond lamellas and middle core together. Extra strong bonding ensures that no delamination occurs even under extreme moisture conditions or flooding. Coswick polyurethane adhesives are 100% formaldehyde free and are environmentally friendly.

• Using birch for the middle core with no gaps in between cross-laid bars significantly improve click performance and eliminate squeaking in floors.

• Valinge 5G click system makes installation fast and easy.

3-layer single strip flooring can be installed below, on or above ground. It can be used for heated floors. 3-layer single strip CosLoc flooring can be installed by floating way on underlayment or by gluing down over concrete, plywood or wooden subfloor. Strips are locked from four sides by CosLoc. If necessary, the flooring can be installed in another room.
