ECOLOGICAL RESPONSIBILITY
Coswick manufactures only environmentally friendly products using natural wood, formaldehyde-free glues and eco-friendly UV-cured and Hardwax oiled coatings for production of the all solid and engineered hardwood floors and wood wall coverings. The preservation of our environment and the responsible use of available natural resources are among core values at Coswick.
Innovations
Base and middle core for 3-layer flooring are made of birch. The hardness of birch is close to a top layer made of oak, ash, or American walnut and the thickness base layer is extended to 3 mm. That provides the perfect symmetry and balance and eliminates any chance of cupping and warping in case of temperature or humidity fluctuations. Cork compensators are inserted into the middle core at every 15 cm. In the event of moisture effect, cork compensators reduce stress in middles core and improve stability and structural integrity of the hardwood flooring plank.
Coswick 3-layer flooring uses innovative Valinge 5G click system CosLoc. Middle core is made of birch, and all layers assembled together without gaps so there is no splits and chips on the click surface. Birch is hard enough to withstand to any chance of deformation of the click surface during installation and latest exploitation. It ensures a very tight and reliable connection and eliminates unwanted plank movement or squeaking during exploitation.
Coswick innovative lacquer finishing technology CosNanoTechPlus is a 12-layer UV-cured coating that contains corundum, the so-called artificial diamond. The finish provides superior durability, wear resistance and ensures an increased lifetime of the wood flooring. The CosNanoTechPlus technology lacquer finish is covered by 25 years warranty. The CosNanoTechPlus technology creates a perfectly smooth flat surface with fully sealed wood pores.
Coswick uses innovative polyurethane hot-melt adhesives for bonding 3-layer engineered flooring planks. This glue is extra strong, water-resistant and highly elastic that eliminates layer separation even in the event of flooding! The polyurethane bonding will not age, which means that the glue joint performance will last for decades during all flooring lifetime. Coswick glues are eco-friendly and do not contain formaldehyde or any other hazardous substances.
Design
Coswick designer palette includes over 80 unique colors available in a range of hardwood species, along with smoked and thermo-modified wood. Variety of protective finishes as semi-gloss and matte UV-cured lacquers, Silk Oil and Hardwax oil together with surface wire-brushing technique allow to find out the perfect decor solution for a custom project.
In addition to traditional hardwood flooring, Coswick offers a unique line of mosaic floors that are available in a multitude of shapes, sizes and surface patterns, including modules, herringbone, chevron and parquetry flooring for arranging in arbitrary patterns. Further, most floors in Coswick product line can be customized for size, style, and construction in order to meet the unique requirements of your project.

To complete interior design solutions Coswick offers a line of the decorative wall- and ceiling panels made of natural wood. With a wide variety of wood species and decors, wood panels meet necessary fire resistance requirements and intended for both residential and public spaces. A selection of acoustic decorative panes is available for use in concert halls and theaters, sound recording studios, cinemas, and home theaters.
Ecology
All Coswick products are manufactured from natural wood. Materials used in the production process are selected based on strict requirements for ecological safety. Finished products are regularly tested for formaldehyde content. According to European standard formaldehyde emissions of Coswick flooring corresponds to E1 class. The whole range of Coswick products meets NAUF and ULEF requirements, as per American CARB ASTM standard. It means that the level of emissions of volatile substances of Coswick flooring is similar to the one of natural wood.
All timber used for flooring production is harvested using clean felling procedures and environmentally responsible practices that do not lead to a reduction in oak and ash forests. Coswick works closely with local forestries, organizations, and institutions with the aim to protect and maintain the environment and forest reserves. Coswick products carry the FSC certificate of wood products supply chain, which confirms that all wood products manufactured by Coswick originate from forestries committed to environmentally and socially responsible logging. 100% of manufacturing waste as sawdust or wood chips is recycled, either burned in boilers for heating kiln dryers or pressed into wood briquettes, which are widely used as fuel for home heating.
